WELCOME TO THE FLUXNEXUS
The FluxNexus is a self generating, self validating, loose association of artists, non artists and anti artists who work in, study, produce or live in a Fluxist manner. Flux is hereby designated as a word whose definition remains in a state of Flux other than the general meaning of "to flow or flowing". The Fluxnexus may or may not have anything in common with the group known as Fluxus. The FluxNexus is the living vessel of Fluxism. Stagnation is Death! If you would like
to become
a member of the FluxNexus and have cooperative use of all things
jointly
owned by the FluxNexus then you are hereby invited to fill in the
membership
form. Membership is free and open to all.

Group Started March 2, 2002 - The FluxNexus is an inclusive, loose
association
of artists, non-artists and anti-artists, noise artists, performers,
intermedia
artists, net artists, etc. working together to create a global
community,
coordinate fluxoramas, fluxfests, Fluxconcerts, fluxpublications and
whatever
else gets dreamt up along the way. Following along the historic chain
from
Futurism through Dada, and Fluxus. The Fluxnexus is the Inheritor of
the
past and the shaper of the future. In Music this might be related to
Experimental,
Electroacoustic, Experimental Improvisation, Experimental Noise, New
Age,
Avant Classical. "Fluxus has been able to grow because it's had room for dialogue and transformation. It's been able to be born and reborn several times in different ways. The fluid understanding of its own history and meaning, the central insistence on dialogue and social creativity rather than on objects and artifacts have enabled Fluxus to remain alive on the several occasions that Fluxus has been declared dead."--Ken Friedman, A FLUXUS IDEA 1/2.
